化妆品工业：
PVPK系列在化妆品工业可用作成膜剂，增稠剂，润滑剂及粘合剂，用于喷发、摩斯、定发凝胶、定发液；在护肤用品以及染发剂、修饰剂、香波、唇膏、除臭剂、防晒剂、牙膏等方面，极适用作辅助剂。
医药工业：
PVPK30（医药级）是药用合成新辅料之一，可用作片剂、颗粒的粘结剂、注射剂的助溶剂、胶囊剂的助流剂、液体制剂及着色剂的分散剂、酶及热敏药物的稳定剂、难溶药物的共沉淀剂、眼药的去毒剂及润滑剂等，采用PVP为辅料的药物已有上百种。
其他工业用途：
悬胶剂、分散剂及乳化剂 油漆及涂料 塑胶、树脂 玻璃纤维 油墨、墨水 粘合剂 压片助剂 生产药水胶布

Applications
Cosmetics: PVP-K series can be used as film-forming agent, viscosity-enhancement agent; lubricator and adhesive .They are the key components of hair spray, mousse, hair-set gel and lotion. They are also boosters in skin-care products, hair-dyeing reagent, modifier, shampoo, lipstick, deodorant, sunscreen and dentifrice.
Pharmacy: Povidone K30 is a new pharmaceutical excipient. It is mainly used as binder for tablets and granules, dissolving assistant for injection, flow assistant for capsules, dispersant for liquid medicine and pigment, stabilizer for enzyme and heat sensitive drugs, co precipitant for poorly soluble drugs, antitoxic assistant for eye drugs as well as lubricator. PVP works as excipient in more than one hundred drugs.
